The blessings and graces that come from the liturgy are neither foreign nor innovative, for they are all the same in the world, whether we're talking about conception, prayer or reading. You can still share and you can still participate. It doesn't change, it's a permanent system. You can always pray anywhere, anytime. November 3, 2024 — Thirty-first Sunday in Ordinary Time — Whoever loves me will keep my word, says the Lord; and my father will love him and we will come to him — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark (Mk 12: 28b-34)

31st Sunday of the Year - B: The commandment for us is: love; if anyone loves me, he will keep my words, and my father will love him; and we will go to them and dwell in them. When admonitions, advice and corrections to improve life go unheeded, the relationship is broken. God really does answer the prayers of people who ask, but we prefer to give up other things. The spiritual heritage of the Jews has collected 613 rules of the law in the Bible, 365 of which are prohibitions and 248 refer to what is ‘permitted’; but Jesus summed them all up in love, those who love their friends are sure to love the Lord too...

The attitude and spirit to have in the liturgy are faith, acceptance of the Church, communion with the Church in the world; openness to the world. There may be special RITES or rituals, the order of things may change a little, but they are already approved by the Church and can be practised in different countries; the ‘Latin Rite’ is used here in Madagascar. Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing. It is this love and this salvation that we wish to fill our life so that we have peace.
