30th Sunday of the Year - B : Jesus Christ is a merciful mediator and healer; I am the light of the world, says the Lord: those who follow me will have the light of life. Jesus changed the hearts of his people, and faith is the greatest healer. We are spiritually blind and in need of a healer; the veil is too thick to cover the inner vision that enlightens us. We see God as an image of God, not GOD ALMIGHTY, which prevents us from serving God with a happy heart. True faith is the real power to stand up to meet Christ and work with others, not to be a dominant person, not to be selfish, but to take God's calling seriously...
The prayer of praise helps us, and the catechism defines it. Praise is a form of prayer that directly recognises that God is God. Praise sings to him only for himself, glorifies him, and God is behind what he does because he is him. Praise contributes to the happiness of the pure heart that believes in Him through faith...
