29th Sunday of the Year - B : Suffering: it can serve as salvation; I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for having revealed the secret of your Kingdom to the little ones. When suffering is offered as a sacrifice, it becomes salvation; if suffering is brought back to God and trusted, it becomes happiness. Suffering can be used as salvation, and it brings salvation to others and to many people. Like Christ, we can bring salvation to others even in suffering...
Contemplating God means coming closer to Him, trying to see and hear Him. Contemplation requires certain conditions: accepting the work of the Holy Spirit, accepting God's will, accepting with faith what appears. Having completed the steps involved in prayer, this encourages us to make the decision to be witnesses, to adapt our lives to the Gospel...
