The second plenary assembly of the Madagascar Bishops' Conference took place in Ambatoroka from 07 to 15 November 2019. The bishops addressed the topic of protecting the "common house" that Pope Francis urged during his apostolic visit to Madagascar.
The Salesian Family of the Province of France and South Belgium (FRB) met in Lourdes from Monday 28th to Thursday 31st October 2019. A gathering that takes place (almost) every four years. The last but one was held on the occasion of the bicentenary of the birth of Don Bosco.
There are several steps that must be taken in order for people to maintain good health. And none of it can be ignored. If you want to recover in the short term while in treatment, all of these steps must be taken into account.
Silence, a gesture that is difficult to accomplish for us humans but essential to our relationship with God. If we keep talking, we will not hear what God is saying. Jesus himself invites us to do it in the Gospel of Matthew 6, 6.
At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.
