The Ministry of Handicrafts and Arts and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock will support FAFIALA in the promotion of its activities, especially for the silk industry. This was the case during the ceremony celebrating the 30 years of this centre on Saturday 8 October at its headquarters in Ambohimangakely, in the Antananarivo-Avaradrano district.

Madagascar's partners, including the UK government, are working to provide food support to food insecure people in the southern part of the island.
