We celebrated Saint Edward on January 05. Edward was born between 1002 and 1004. The Danish Invasion in 1003, Emma took her sons, Edward and Alfred, seek refuge nearby Richard II of Normandie. In 1041 Edward returned to England.

Saint Odilo's Day is celebrated on January 04th. Born in 962 in Saint-Cirgues (Haute-Loire). He is a son of the seigniorial family of Mercœur in Auvergne whose lands were located on the plateaus on either side of the Allier between Brioude and Langeac. He began his studies as a canon at the church of Saint-Julien in Brioude.

On this 03 January, we celebrate St Genevieve. Born in Nanterre in 423, St Genevieve consecrated herself to God as a child.

Since the reform done by Pope Paul VI, we celebrate on the same day of January 02 Saints Basil and Gregory. They were born around 330 in Cappadoce. Basile is from Caesarea while Gregory is from Nazianzen. They come from Christian Families.

Happy new year everybody!? May this year brings joy and peace and especially let's ensure equity in society together. Holy Mother Mary is celebrated at this beginning of the year. A happy feast for those who have the mother God as patron Saint.

Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing.
