October 16, 2023 — Monday, Twenty-eighth Week in Ordinary Time — If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke (Lk 11: 29-32)
We encourage all Christians to sympathise and pray for our nation as it faces this turning point, and for the common good. Much blood has been shed and lives lost since 1972, so we call for peace for all. We call on everyone to uphold justice and respect values. We need to be able to listen to each other and discuss ideas.
At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.
