Ordination is nothing other than a sacrament that gives the power and grace needed to perform sacred work, while marking the soul as a priest of Jesus Christ. The priest's sacred work is to celebrate Mass, give the sacraments and preach the Gospel. The order is multi-layered: Bishop, Priest, Deacon... On Holy Thursday, Jesus Christ celebrated the sacrament of Holy Orders. Only the bishop organizes the rank. Priests are needed to celebrate mass and distribute the sacraments...
Anyone who sees or hears about abortion but does not speak out is an accomplice to this crime. To support abortion is to participate in this grave sin and does not allow Catholics to receive Holy Communion.
