Stroke is a sudden failure of brain function due to a blockage of the blood supply to the brain. Anyone can be affected by a ‘stroke’; it is the result of a blockage in the blood vessels that will not circulate properly or that the blood vessels are too hard. There are two types of stroke: 1- ischaemic stroke (blockage of the blood vessels); 2- haemorrhagic stroke (rupture of a blood vessel), both of which leave negative effects...
