January 4, 2024 — Thursday, Christmas Weekday — In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets: in these last days, he has spoken to us through the Son — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John (Jn 1: 35-42)

The question is how can Malagasy people help each other to develop Madagascar? What kind of education should be put in place to be an element in the development of our country? Education must be a priority if a country has a vision of development. The basic principles of education: mutual respect, establishing and following rules, trying to be a good role model, creating a pleasant environment to facilitate the transmission of education... A program entitled "Apela Miary" in collaboration with Madame Aliette Abraham.

 

Work improves social and economic standards of living. Work improves life but causes other things because it is affected by sin: violence, jealousy, dishonesty, hatred, conflict... There are obstacles that limit people who do not really improve their livelihood: laziness, jealousy... Catechesis on the Church, the family and development, in collaboration with Fr Bertrand Ratovoalinirina.

January 3, 2024 — Wednesday, Christmas Weekday — The Word of God became flesh and dwelt among us. To those who accepted him he gave power to become the children of God — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John (Jn 1: 29-34)

The Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth

At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.

Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing. It is this love and this salvation that we wish to fill our life so that we have peace.
