The Malagasy researchers have found a biopesticide to control the de proliferation of the fall armyworm who drove down from 40 à 50% the production of corn in the big Island. It is the Bacillus thuringiensis, a species of endemic bacterium Madagascar located in Vatomandry.
The Network of Agricultural and Rural Training Actors in Madagasikara or FARMADA is currently implementing various strategies to promote Agricultural and Rural Training, including the labelling of training structures. The objective is to improve the quality of the training offered by the members of the Network.
At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.
