At least 320 000 family farmers in eight regions in the southern and central-eastern part of Madagascar: Androy, Anosy, Ihosy, Matsihatra Ambony, Amoron'i Mania, Atsimo Atsinanana et Vatovavy Fitovinany, will benefit from the opportunity provided by the "Programme de Développement des Filières agricoles Inclusfis" (DEFIS). This is a programme of the Malagasy Government under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, launched on 4 December 2019.
