First Sunday of Advent - Year D: Christ will come in the last days; show us, O Lord, your mercy! and give us salvation from you. We are entering the time of the coming, which is the time leading up to the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, in four weeks' time. It is sad that we associate the return of Jesus Christ with the danger that will come at the end of the world, but what the Gospel says has been revealed to encourage us and wake us up. Jesus, who is coming, is the great light, but we need to be ready, with prayer and faith, for the end of the world.

Scabies is a year-round disease, and in recent months more and more people are suffering from it. Scabies is a skin disease and is contagious, especially for sensitive skin. A parasite called sarcoptes carries scabies, penetrating the skin. Contact with a sick person can spread the disease rapidly, and treatment must be carried out with family members. Hygiene and health’ programme here on Radio Don Bosco.
