Bruno is a lady's son, so you could say he's a good son. Bruno helped his mother prepare food for the end-of-year party, but he wasn't at peace because his friends teased him about going out for the evening. His mother didn't approve of Bruno going to the party because the party authorisation was worrying. Bruno went in secret even though he was banned.
