Prayer is an appeal to God. The declaration made by Jesus, which is the basis of our Christian prayer, has three forms that complement and depend on each other; in other words, it is only one because it says that there is only one God: declaration of what happened when he was in his mother's womb until he rose again; revelation of his Word; revelation of himself, that he is the son of God. June 14, 2024 — Friday, Tenth Week in Ordinary Time — Shine like lights in the world, as you hold on to the word of life — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew (Mt 5: 27-32)

We pray because within us there is a desire for God. Catechesis on the mystery of prayer, with P. Aurélien Rarivoson.
