The Church does not accept the liberalization of soft drugs, and everyone's conscience must be cultivated through prayer and daily reflection. If we want to treat a person who has taken drugs, it's an effort to integrate him or her into the community from which he or she came, and we must accompany him or her. People who have been treated for drug addiction must always be treated with dignity and love. The stigmatization of people treated for drug use drives them back into dependency.
