To pray is to lift up one's soul to God, or to ask him for goodness and kindness. The whole person prays through actions or words, but also the soul or spirit, most often the heart. Christian prayer is a covenant between God and man in Christ. Prayer is the work of the Holy Trinity... Catechesis on “Daily prayer”, in collaboration with P. Raphaël Eugène Ralison.

The blessings and graces that come from the liturgy are neither foreign nor innovative, for they are all the same in the world, whether we're talking about conception, prayer or reading. You can still share and you can still participate. It doesn't change, it's a permanent system. You can always pray anywhere, anytime. The liturgy on earth is the beginning of the eternal liturgy in heaven... Catechesis on Prayer in the liturgy, in collaboration with Fr. Jean Louis Rakotomanantsoa.

The attitude and spirit to have in the liturgy are faith, acceptance of the Church, communion with the Church in the world; openness to the world. There may be special RITES or rituals, the order of things may change a little, but they are already approved by the Church and can be practised in different countries; the ‘Latin Rite’ is used here in Madagascar. The language and signs used in the liturgy are very specific. If a national language is used, the translation must have been approved by the Vatican. The books used in the liturgy are either the Bible, the Book of Mass, books on the Sacraments or sacramentals and these special anointings must have been approved by the Church.
