The cape pea sector is facing difficulties, which is one of the basic activities of the farmers grouped together within FITAME or Union des Paysans du Menabe. FITAME is a federation that works to promote the rural environment in the Menabe region.
It is now clear that the majority of Malagasy live in chaos, insecurity, violence and above all violence in all its forms, some of them even capable of shedding blood. In view of these cases, it was felt that it was time to recall what is known as ‘Malagasy fihavanana’, and to return to the very foundations of this value which has its own identity. Prayer is talking to God, raising the soul to God; the Psalms are poetry and poems intended to be sung, which need inspiration. There are many different forms in the Psalms: there is the King's Psalm, there is the entry into the temple, there is the practice of pilgrimage, there is the song of Zion, there is the transmission of messages and teachings. ‘Mba ho voona’ is a programme that has been travelling for many seasons, starting with “Ny fitiavana sy ny tontolony” and “E.V.A”. The host, Mr Flavien Rakotoarison, who has been doing this job for 28 years, made the effort to produce the show'. mba ho vanona’ programme in collaboration with General Désiré Ramakavelo.
At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.
