The Ancestors were not meant to be served but deserved to be respected because they transmitted and protected Life for all generations to come. It is important to respect all the deceased and the Ancestors who preceded them in the afterlife.
The celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Diocese of Ambatondrazaka in 2021 has brought spiritual renewal to Christians. Their current three main challenges are to improve the system to be in tune with the structure of the whole Church, to encourage Christians to pray and live the sacraments, and to urge them to be responsible in the life of the Church. We pray for the souls of the deceased in purgatory that God will grant them his mercy. In order to obtain the holiness necessary to access paradise, Christians die, but imperfectly purified, experience after their death this period of trial which totally frees them from evil.
