07 November - Ernest is born in Steisslingen, Germany. As a young man he entered the Benedictine monastery at Zwiefalten on Lake Constance. He was director of this monastery from 1141 to 1146.
The Ancestors were not meant to be served but deserved to be respected because they transmitted and protected Life for all generations to come. It is important to respect all the deceased and the Ancestors who preceded them in the afterlife.
The celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Diocese of Ambatondrazaka in 2021 has brought spiritual renewal to Christians. Their current three main challenges are to improve the system to be in tune with the structure of the whole Church, to encourage Christians to pray and live the sacraments, and to urge them to be responsible in the life of the Church. Pope Francis has accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the Diocese of Miarinarivo, presented by H.E. Mgr Jean Claude Randrianarisoa. At the same time, the Supreme Pontiff has appointed H.E. Mgr Marie Fabien Raharilamboniaina, as Apostolic Admnistrator sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the same Diocese.
