Fourth Sunday of Lent: the Father loves us sinners; God's love for the world is so great that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. The Pharisees were people who had no relationship with Christ, but called him Master; for those who are open to Jesus, he will reveal to them the secret of salvation and baptism, the mystery of suffering and of my resurrection and final judgment. Jesus is the Father's greatest gift to bring salvation and eternal life to mankind.
