Life in Argentina is difficult, says Fr Randriamalalatiana Harinala Romel, sdb because the hours and the way of learning, the people and the way of life, the culture and society are changing. Challenges facing missionaries, it must be surpassed. Fr Romel shares his life experiences with us.

Introduction

It is strange the way in which things are presented and renewed in the history of the Church.

Faced with the vicissitudes of Don Bosco, I have always remained astonished, amazed, and attracted by his person and by his strength, by my presence of the supernatural in his daily life. I used to think as soon as I went to secondary school that it was fantastic to be able to relive even a little of what he had lived! From my youth I perceived Don Bosco in my heart, I heard that I was profoundly and radically Salesian. For three years I thought, and I went into crisis several times, to understand if I was called to become a Salesian priest, and then the facts and some doubts in my heart convinced me not to enter the seminary.

During this month of november, the community is devoted to celebrating the conclusion of the year 2019 in every sector and works.

At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.

Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing.
