Pope Francis hopes that people working in health care will value their work and stand for "yes" to life, and he encouraged the sick to trust in Jesus Christ, His mercy and His encouragement. This was reflected in Pope Francis' message for the 28th International Day of the Patient, celebrated on 11 February 2020.

The alarming situation of children is due to the irresponsibility of adults. Pope Francis invites us to change this situation.
