The goal of the common good is the progress of society; however, this cannot be achieved without a peaceful and harmonious society. Peace is not something that can be achieved once and for all, but something that has to be built constantly, that requires patience and that is sought by the public as a whole. The ethnic origin that distinguishes different groups of people is included in the domain of the common good, but it is not enough to define it as a whole.
