"Happiness and joy for all of us" is the wish of Brother Dieudonné Stéphane, Salesian of Don Bosco missionary in Guatemala, at the beginning of the new year 2020. I hope that the New Year has begun well for all of you," he adds. As for him, the beginning of the year was marked by various events. Brother Stéphane shares with us the strong moments he lived.

We welcomed and celebrated the New Year with joy and in the fraternity in the different communities. We have started the New Year well in the community. In the different sectors of the work, each one received his calendar for the year. We have also lost a confrere on this earth, but who has gone to join the others in Paradise.

Also, since January is a festive month for us Salesians of Don Bosco, it was well filled with the various activities that took place. On the Feast of our Patron Saint, Francis de Sales, we had a half-day of recreation and sports in the theological community with all the confreres of the different communities: Pre-Novitiate, Post-Novitiate, Theologate, Cresco and the interns. Of course, we celebrated with dignity the Solemnity of our Holy Founder and Father, Don Bosco, on January 31. On this occasion, various activities were organized by the various sectors and works of the Community: Don Bosco College, the Parish and the Oratorio. The month of January was marked by various activities that required the participation of everyone.

I leave you with some news and hope to give you more later. "Happy New Year 2020" to all of you.

In union of prayer

Coadjutor DIEUDONNE Bruno Stéphane, SDB
