Humans have several needs, some of which are necessary for their survival. However, not knowing how to control these needs leads to a lack of respect for the dignity of oneself and others.
The Malagasy place solidarity and unity as values, all the more so for Christians as they “love even their enemies” as Jesus Christ asked. Parents pass this value on to their children because “children see what these adults are doing at home”, and this extends to the community and surrounding area. “Mariazy mirindra” helps couples experience true love by offering them a basic weekend in June.
We are all responsible for organizing and having a well-planned election. By establishing equal values of justice, we will bring more justice to elections and to democracy. Fair elections will help establish a well-run state, and lead us all towards true sustainable development.
Conviviality is necessary, between young people, young people and educators, but it must have clear objectives. Avoid destructive relationships, avoid barriers like differences, because it should be an advantage to unite. Young people are invited to always seek joy, happiness, peace and harmony. Young people are encouraged to pray and to join God in building a better future.
At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.
