October 28, 2024 — Saints Simon and Jude, Apostles — Feast — We praise you, O God, we acclaim you as Lord; the glorious company of Apostles praise you — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke (Lk 6: 12-16)

These rights apply to workers and employers in all sectors: shopkeepers, entrepreneurs, farmers, etc. The employer has a right vis-à-vis the employee; the latter is responsible for performing the work agreed with the employer and is entitled to a fair wage. It is necessary to balance the salary or the value of the work done by a person that the employee is entitled to receive. Neighbours must not steal from each other... Thanks to Christ, Christian death has a real meaning: ‘As for me, Christ is my life and death is my gain’. This is a very faithful statement: if we die with Him, we will live with Him. Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing.
