30 October - Welcome Bojani, born around 1255 in Savogna di Cividale in Friuli, Italy. As a child she already had a great devotion for the Virgin Mary.

Then, having chosen to become a Dominican Tertiary, she lived through permanent and difficult mortifications, wanting to imitate the sufferings of Christ, wearing a cilice, a rope on her skin that she tightened tightly, injecting vinegar into her eyes, despite the warnings of her confessors.

Having fallen seriously ill, she made a pilgrimage to the tomb of St. Dominic and came back cured. Many miracles have been attributed to Bienvenue, so much so that Pope Clement XII beatified her in 1763 in ratification of the cult that had long been rendered to her.
