26th Sunday of the Year - B: Who truly belongs to Christ; Open our hearts, Lord, so that we may obey the words of your Son. Everyone should be prophets, bringing the word of God. If it's not us but other people who come up with ideas to develop the Church, are we jealous or happy? Don't let personal interests dominate decisions about faith development. Money and wealth do not guarantee true happiness; money is necessary but it is intended to help, not for a purpose that might cause others and God to be forgotten. The opening hymn expresses God's love and He does not discriminate: You are just, Lord, and your judgements are just. According to your kindness, your servant will be treated. Before the Lord, all men are equal, as it is written in James 2:5: Listen, my beloved brother: has not God chosen the poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith, and to inherit the kingdom he has promised to those who love him? Many people are oppressed by hardship and cannot socialise with others, many are victims of stigmatisation...
