First Sunday of Lent: God wants to be with us; Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. We are entering the 40-day season of Lent, which began on Ash Wednesday. We need to take steps towards peace with God: make an effort to rid ourselves of bad habits, do penance and good deeds, abstain from food and control ourselves. God takes the first step towards reconciliation with us humans: God has made a covenant of peace with humans and with the next generation, just as is said in the story of the flood.
The leper is healed; I am the way, the truth and the life, says the Lord; no one comes to the Father but through me. Holy Gospel written by Md. Mark 1, 40-.45 : At that time, a leper came to Jesus; he begged him and, falling on his knees, said to him: "If you are willing, you can make me clean. Peter's house, where Christ was, represents the Church, while the human Church is the disciples of Jesus; the Gospel read today reflects the human service rendered to the Church. We all have a role to serve in the Church...
Third Sunday simple year B: An ugly face cannot be changed, but a bad character can be changed; The Kingdom of God is near, believe in the Gospel. The Holy Father has dedicated the third Sunday in January to God's Word Sunday, a time to focus on the role of Sacred Scripture in our lives. Ignorance of what is said in Sacred Scripture is also ignorance of God. Jesus continued to preach the Gospel that John had done, calling for repentance. Jesus' disciples, whom he called to follow him, abandoned their identity and obeyed as the Lord taught them...
