Mary is a woman gathered in God but not isolated from men, their lives and their history. She is in silence because she is impermanent and cordial, listening to the word of God and the words of men. For Mary, courage comes from the fact that she is a mother. A mother who can only take care of her daughters and sons. Nothing stops her, no obstacle or adversity intimidates her. No gesture is useful to ensure her presence, even silent and full of expectation, as at the foot of each cross where she stands with strength. Novena to Mary Help of Christians. Day Six.
