Saturday July 10, 2021 - Fourteenth week in Ordinary Time - If you are insulted for the name of Christ, happy are you: the Spirit of God rests on you - Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 10, 24-33

Dear Christians, it is by imitating the Master that we recognize the disciples. Jesus preached without fear; such disciples should also act. He trusted God the Father so much, so although he suffered and died as a result, he rose from the dead; it is also the marked path that we must follow.

Jesus repeats the phrase "do not be afraid" three times in this Gospel. For him, as for us, God is present and at work, never abandoning his children. He cares about the birds and the grass of the field, how much more we human beings, his image, are precious to him, especially his beloved Christian children.

Jesus assures and guarantees eternal salvation to those who are faithful to the end. Jesus Christ himself will defend us before God the Father. Besides, that is what he is: the Eternal Mediator. Let’s preach, let’s trust. Amen

The Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth
