Friday April 30, 2021 - Fourth week of Paschal Time - I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, says the Lord. No one goes to the Father without passing through me - Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 14, 1-6

The word of Jesus, in this Gospel, animates us and gives birth to hope. He exhorts us not to let our hearts be troubled by this fleeting life, to believe in God and have faith in Him. He clearly says that in his Father's house there are many mansions, he is leaving to prepare these mansions and again he will come to take us to him.

Often the things that torment us is the search for the fleeting happiness of this world. The happiness we desire on earth cannot satisfy us, which is why man cannot be satisfied with what he has and what is given to him. On the other hand, Jesus promises us true happiness. A happiness that resists time. So, let's turn our hearts to what Jesus promised us. In Him alone we can find happiness.

So, we must believe in his word, in his recommendations, because he has already shown us the road that leads us to eternal happiness: "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one goes to the Father without go through Me ". We must unite with Him, who is the way, the truth and the life, who leads us to the house of the Father. To keep and respect his command is required of us for this. Commandment of love, expressed in compassion, forgiveness and mercy, which we must cultivate within us and spread around us.
