In this Gospel, Jesus gives an illustration of God's trust in us. Trust that we have betrayed. From a human perspective, it seems strange that the dishonest steward is praised by his master. What is laudable here is not dishonesty but insight. In the same way, God looks at us, He loves us loves us, not because we have betrayed his trust, but because we deploy our talent and our knowledge to announce his Word.

Talent and intellect should be used for good and not for evil. At this time we need to preach the Word of God in a new way. It is no longer enough to be content with the usual way. And this requires a lot of deep thinking despite our weaknesses. Let us remember that God trusts us because He adopted us through baptism, so we are no longer servants. He has given each of us the wisdom and talents to extend God's kingdom on earth.

The Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth
