We find in these passages certain parallelism between the story of Moses and that of Jesus. They were both exfiltrated to Egypt during the massacres of the male infants. Jesus relived here the history of the Jewish people. But the Hebrews, although released from the yoke of the Egyptians by God through Moses, turned away from God to worship to other deities. While for their part, Jesus, Mary and Joseph, in spite of the difficulties, fully surrendered themselves to God by scrupulously conforming to Angel's words.

Love and Salvation
