As a result of what we said yesterday, Jesus manifests his authority not only in his teachings but also in his actions. Jesus is not content with fine words, He acts. The Christian has taken Jesus as a model of life. He does not stop only at prayer, a filial relationship with God the Father, but he lives this relationship through love of neighbour. The choice of a leper, for the first miracle according to the Evangelist, shows God's love for us sinners through Jesus. Only Jesus can introduce us into the life in God and teach us our identity as children of God.
