Sometimes people who are close, best friends or family members, can provoke each other and come into conflict with each other. What good is bickering? That's why Jesus corrects here and emphasizes God's Fifth Commandment, "Thou shalt not kill." In everyday life, we know what awaits a murderer. Only God, the source of life, has the right to life and death.

Brethren, killing does not only mean stabbing someone, or using a gun, but it can come in many different forms, indirect or direct. Therefore, Jesus emphasizes today that the best solution is to make peace. This can appear in the form of forgiveness. Be quick to make peace with those who have differences with you, says Christ; for the best revenge is forgiveness. We are a family, we are all children of the Father. Jesus, teach us to live the same love as you, without any hypocrisy. Amen.
