Généralement nous pensons que la foi est une chose évidente parce que notre statut de chrétiens nous est hérité de nos parents. Mais cette foi ne doit pas se limiter à cette idée d'héritage. C'est d'abord et surtout un don, que nous avons reçu individuellement, de Dieu. Ne cessons de Lui rendre grâce pour ce don.

C'est par la foi que Jésus nous dirige vers le Père. Comme Il le disait : "Celui qui m’a vu a vu le Père". C'est le visage du Christ qui nous révèle le mystère de Dieu le Père, invisible à nos yeux. On ne peut connaître le Père sans connaître Jésus.  Qui peut mieux connaître le Père à part le Fils ? Seul Fils vient du Père et Il est le seul à pouvoir parler du Père. Jésus se dit ici pain de la vie pour celui qui le mangera, c'est-à-dire celui qui croit en Lui. C'est ce qui nous conduit vers la vie éternelle.

Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr. Bizimana Innocent, Provincial Superior of the Salesians Don Bosco of Madagascar and Mauritius, presenting his Christmas greetings. Salvation is accomplished, so life is not in danger of disappearing. It is this love and this salvation that we wish to fill our life so that we have peace.
