Friday, April 10, 2020 - Good Friday - Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ according to St. John 18, 1-40; 19, 1-42 - For us, Christ became obedient, even unto death, and death from the cross. That is why God exalted him: he endowed him with the Name which is above every name.

Jesus gave Himself on the cross out of love for us. This is neither a tale nor a legend: God accepted death so that we could live. "All is accomplished," He said, and then he bowed his head.

Jesus let himself be crucified out of love for us all. But we, in our daily lives, in case of difficulties, do not stop recriminating against God. Not wanting to carry our cross, we sometimes even blame Him. Jesus, help us to trust in your love, and teach us to bear our cross. Amen.

Diocese of Miarinarivo

Pope Francis has accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the Diocese of Miarinarivo, presented by H.E. Mgr Jean Claude Randrianarisoa. At the same time, the Supreme Pontiff has appointed H.E. Mgr Marie Fabien Raharilamboniaina, as Apostolic Admnistrator sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the same Diocese.

Love and Salvation
