There are many laws prescribed for the Jewish people, but here Jesus summarizes them in two commandments: love God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind, with all your strength; love your neighbor as yourself. The scribe in question in this passage is convinced of this and Jesus tells him that he is close to the kingdom of heaven. Not that he is already there, but he knows what he must do to get there. It is by the way we have lived this love that we will be judged at the end of time.

On this lent, besides piety and sacrifices, it is requested to have compassion towards our neighbors. Hence, many are still suffering from hunger and disease.. around us.As Jesus said:"Whatever you do to the poor, you do to me"

Diocese of Miarinarivo

Pope Francis has accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the Diocese of Miarinarivo, presented by H.E. Mgr Jean Claude Randrianarisoa. At the same time, the Supreme Pontiff has appointed H.E. Mgr Marie Fabien Raharilamboniaina, as Apostolic Admnistrator sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the same Diocese.

Love and Salvation
