Thursday, March 19, 2020 — Joseph, Husband of Mary — Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 1, 16. 18-21 — Blessed are the inhabitants of your house, O Lord: they will be able to sing to you again.
Joseph, a righteous man, received from God the heavy mission of being the father of his Son, Jesus. Without hesitation, he accepted the mission and fulfilled it with faith and humility. This makes Joseph an example, a model for all fathers of families: bending to God's will and taking care of his family and doing it to the best of his ability.
