It is true that everyone has his or her own character, but here Christ tells us to have the infinite goodness of God, namely mercy, forgiveness, objectivity and compassion. Saint John affirms that God is love, and here, Saint Luke stresses that God is merciful.Several times, the Christ reiterates this two attributes of God.
