Saturday January 15, 2022 - First week of ordinary time - The Lord sent me to bring the Good News to the poor, to announce their release to the captives - Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark 2, 13-17

We find here two characters. On the one hand, Jesus who did not take into account the reproaches and sly remarks addressed to him for having entered a sinner's house and having sat down with him. This is, moreover, the very objective of his mission on earth: "Calling sinners". On the other hand, Levi who makes us aware of the ugliness of sin and dares to receive God in order to turn away from it. None of us can declare ourselves pure and innocent before God, so we must welcome the only doctor who can cure us of our ills: Christ who came not for the righteous, but for sinners.

At the end of its second General Assembly, held from 15 to 18 October 2024, the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace sent a message to government officials at all levels, as well as to all Malagasy and all people of goodwill.

Love and Salvation

Christmas is a great joy, because it is the love of God that has come to us, proclaims Fr.
