Nantenaina Casimir makes his living from farming and animal husbandry in the Faratsiho district of the Vakinankaratra region. He trained to specialise in medicine, but chose to work in agriculture and livestock farming. Nantenaina Casimir was a young man who learned from Papa Bio and Ranaivoarison Basil. It all started with about 2 handfuls of worms at Papa Bio's two years ago.

Today, he has 20 kg of worms and produces 70 to 80 kg of vermicompost a week.

Nantenaina Casimir encourages his fellow farmers to practise organic production. Organic production through the use of vermicompost is a way of ensuring good health," says this young organic farmer, "so it should also be shared with other farmers.
