A meeting between rural producers and visitors, customers in the capital, at the Nanisana MEP this week. The 15th edition of the "livestock, fishing and agriculture fair" will be held in NANISANA from Thursday 28 September to Sunday 1 October 2023...
Producers spread over 130 stands will be taking part, and 22,000 visitors are expected by the organiser, the MEP, over the four days. There will also be an exhibition and sales of participants' products throughout the island. There will be a meeting of producers and project leaders, and exchanges around the theme of creations, found in Nanisana.
The aim of this "Foire de l'Élevage, de la Pêche et de l'Agriculture or FEPA, the 15th edition of which opens this Thursday", said the director of the Professionnels Malgaches de l'Élevage or MPE, Rakotondrahanta Solofo, is to promote the development of livestock farming in Madagascar.
Special attention is being paid to students. Admission is free for them. The aim is to teach children and young people that it is possible to earn a living in the production sector in rural areas.
