The FORMAPROD programme will come to an end in 2023. This programme, placed under the aegis of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, is the first tool deployed to improve agricultural and rural training (FAR) in Madagascar. The work carried out by the FORMAPROD programme over the ten years it has been running in the Analamanga region has been positive, said the national coordinator, Rakotonaivo Harilala...

The Region has contributed to the development of rural production, particularly among the young people it has supported through the training programme. This was underlined on Tuesday 19 September 2023 at a workshop to evaluate the work carried out during the ten years of its existence, and to close the programme for the people of Analamanga. The workshop was held in the Mahitsy Rural Municipality in the Ambohidratrimo District.

All the players involved in the programme, particularly the beneficiaries, took part. FORMAPROD is a programme sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development or IFAD.

The Analamanga Region FORMAPROD workshop was officially opened by the Secretary General, Ms Ratsiharovala Mbola, representing the Governor.
