The Réseau des Formateurs pour l'Agriculture et le Développement Rural à Madagascar, or FARMADA, is continuing the process of standardizing its member training centers. It helps training centers, trainers and farmers who offer training courses to take advantage of the certification they already possess, by proceeding with the process of validation of acquired experience, or the VAE of this system today.
The future of Agricultural and Rural Training Centers lies in the implementation of VAE, or what we call in French: "Validation des Acquis de l'Expérience". The FARMADA network is currently in the process of launching this. FARMADA values feedback from farmers, says its president Serge Merison.
FAR members from the Analamanga and Itasy regions benefited from explanations given by technicians from the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training on the good things to know about VAE. The workshop was held on May 4, 2023 for the Analamanga region, and on May 3 for the Itasy region.
Those involved in FAR Analamanga, who listened to the explanation given by the technician from the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training, were convinced that Validation des Acquis de l'Expérience or "VAE" is indispensable, or that it belongs to farmers, or to those who have particular knowledge of the production method and those in charge of the training center.
Information on the "Reconnaissance des Acquis de l'Expérience" or "VAE" by technicians from the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training will continue in other regions of the FARMADA network.
