Many Malagasy are involved in production, including a farmer who lends production equipment in the commune of Mahasolo, Bongolava region. Afafi or “Andriny Fambolena sy Fiompiana” in Fianarantsoa is also one of the producers of machines that can be used for transplanting. The machine has been well tested and many farmers are satisfied with its use, said Mr. Rakotoniaina Michel, project manager at the company.

Mr. Andriamilato Rakotomala Isaia also invented, researched and produced production and processing equipment. He founded his company AST in Ivato almost 30 years ago.

In conclusion, many Malagasy are already inclined towards the production of production equipment, to help farmers. They started by researching the needs of the Malagasy people, which led them to act accordingly.
