The network of farmers' organisations devoted two days to a meeting on: the farmer's view to discuss the effectiveness and efficiency of the youth installation scheme initiated by the SOA network.

A workshop held on 26 and 27 July 2022 in Ilafy, Antananarivo-Avaradrano, discussed the successes and failures that need to be addressed in the support of the SOA network and its partners in any accompaniment of young people, especially those who have been trained in agricultural production and in rural areas, based on the survey.

Farmer leaders of the SOA network, young people trained and accompanied in the production sector and those who will be trained to be leaders in the organisation in the near future, technicians and development actors participated. Officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock also provided information on "accompanying young people".

The young people had a lot of time to look at what was being supported for them, during two days. The reason and target are clear according to the president of the SOA network, Razafimbololona Angeline. If the knowledge gained during the training is not used, it was done in vain, he said.

The meeting organised by the Network of Agricultural Organisations or SOA Network allowed young people to express themselves on their field of work. The ideas they put forward included integrating and strengthening the training they received. It is not enough, they said, to add the resources to make the project work after the training.
