Farmers in the commune of Ivato increase their knowledge and experience to improve the production environment in which they work, at the Center for Development and Rural Self-sufficiency or CEDAR Ezaka Maintso and in the commune of Talatamaty in the district of Ambohidratrimo.
The training began on March 14 and lasted one month in Mandrosoa, with the participation of 80 farmers, in collaboration with the Malagasy Fund for Vocational Training or FMFP. There will be three training courses: organic fertilizer production, rabbit breeding and leadership skills, each lasting 20 hours, said Mr. Andrianjafimahatradraibe Habby Arnaud, socio-organizing technician at CEDAR Ezaka Maintso.
Cultivating in compliance with sanitary standards would not be a dream if all producers practiced biologically improved agriculture. The training organized by CEDAR Ezaka Maintso, in Fitroafana-Mandrosoa, convinced the participating farmers. Innovations in the production sector will be presented, not yet discovered and applied by them in the agriculture and livestock sector.
It is important for the commune of Talatamaty to train its peasants for the improvement of the rural environment, declared Mr. Randrianarivony Solo Bruno Marie, first deputy to the mayor.
